Overview of Services

About Us:
The Monash University Malaysia Genomics Platform (MUMGP) is an ISO 9001 certified infrastructure platform under the School of Science. It provides massively parallel high-throughput nucleic acids (DNA/RNA) sequencing services to support the research of Monash University staff and students, collaborators and clients from Malaysia and abroad. Funding to support the platform is provided annually by Monash University Malaysia and is supplemented through income from internal and external grants and contract sequencing. The platform was the first laboratory and research platform on the Malaysian campus to achieve ISO 9001:2015 and works closely with the Director, Research Infrastructure and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Infrastructure) Monash University to maintain the Platform Quality Management System (PQMS). Since the establishment of the platform in July 2013, we have over 178 publications and generated close to 2.5 Tb of sequencing data from over 330 MiSeq runs (as of January 2023).
